The suction port and discharge port of SH type double suction clean water centrifugal pump are both below the pump axis, the degree direction is perpendicular to the axis, and the pump shell is opened. During maintenance, it is unnecessary to dismantle the water inlet. The discharge pipeline and motor (or other prime mover) are all reverse when viewed from the coupling to the pump.

The pump body and the pump cover form the working chamber of the impeller. The pipe screw holes of the vacuum gauge and the pressure gauge are arranged on the water inlet and outlet flange, and the pipe screw holes for water drainage are arranged on the lower part of the water inlet and outlet flange. After static balance verification, the impeller is fixed with the shaft sleeve and the shaft sleeve nuts on both sides. Its axial position can be stopped and adjusted by the shaft sleeve nut. The axial force of the impeller is balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades. There may be some residual axial force accepted by the bearing at the coaxial end. The pump shaft is supported by two single row centripetal ball bearings. The bearings are installed in the bearing bodies at both ends of the pump body. The bearings are smooth with butter. The double suction seal rings are used to reduce the water leakage of the water pressure chamber of the pump back to the water suction chamber. The water pump is directly driven by the motor through the coupling. The shaft seal is a soft packing seal. In order to cool and smooth the sealing chamber and avoid air leakage into the pump, there is a water sealing ring between the packing. When the water pump is working, a small amount of high-pressure water flows into the packing chamber through the water sealing pipe to play the role of water sealing.
